Frankie A. Reed LPC, therapist for women and professionals in transition
Hi, I’m Frankie, a licensed therapist serving Louisiana, Florida, and Delaware.

I believe therapy should be more than just problem-solving ,  it should feel like a supportive connection where you are seen, not judged. My approach blends practical tools with reflective writing so that you can slow down, gain insight, and make meaningful changes that last. Therapy focuses on understanding present-day challenges while increasing awareness of how past and ongoing experiences influence thoughts, emotions, and behavior.

"I’m passionate about creating supportive connections and using reflection to guide people toward balance, healing, and fulfillment."

Individual Therapy for Adults

Connection. Realignment. Clarity. Forward Motion.
At Momentum, I offer one-on-one sessions for adults navigating life transitions, identity shifts, burnout, or simply seeking a grounded space for growth.
Whether you're recalibrating your personal or professional life, feeling emotionally overwhelmed, or simply needing time to hear yourself think, this is a place to pause, reflect, and move forward with intention.

Common reasons people seek individual therapy with me include:
  • Life transitions (career, relationships, identity shifts)
  • Anxiety
  • Workplace stress or burnout
  • Reconnecting with a sense of purpose
  • Boundaries and emotional regulation
  • Feeling “stuck” even though things look fine on the outside

Reflection and deep connection are at the heart of my work. Writing is used selectively as a reflection practice between sessions and occasionally in session to support insight and awareness, not as the primary focus of therapy. They give you space to explore your thoughts, name your emotions, and discover patterns that might otherwise go unnoticed.  Discussion and journaling inside and outside of sessions creates a bridge between where you are and where you want to be. Together, we use these reflections to move forward with clarity, calm, and purpose.

In Their Words

"Frankie is like a second mother and a best friend rolled into one, except she has the professional wisdom to back it all up. I always feel safe bringing my whole self into session. She’s honest, grounding, and she just gets it. I’ve never felt more seen, and I actually look forward to therapy now."
— Client, Age 37

"I don’t know how she does it, but Frankie has this way of making you feel completely heard without ever making it about her. She’s down to earth, insightful, and somehow always knows how to say the thing that shifts everything. I’ve told her more than once she needs to write a book. Her wisdom runs deep."
— Former Client

"Every week, I walk away from our sessions with something new to reflect on... and I *want* to come back. That says a lot. Frankie has been the keeper of some of my biggest truths, and not once have I felt judged. Just supported, understood, and challenged when I need it. She’s truly gifted."

“As a teacher, I’ve spent years putting everyone else first:  students, staff, my own family. Frankie helped me carve out space for me without guilt. I felt like she saw the emotional weight I was carrying before I could even explain it. Her sessions feel like an exhale I didn’t know I needed.”
— T.B., Educator

“When everything in my life was shifting — work, relationships, my sense of self — Frankie helped me stay grounded. She didn’t rush me. She asked the questions no one else knew how to ask. I honestly don’t know how I would have walked through that season without her.”
— L.H., Tough Transition
