"Serving with a Heart for God" When God creates in us a servant’s heart, we are compelled to do unto Him—even in circumstances that might suggest otherwise. Serving God means relinquishing the need to evaluate whether someone, a cause, or a situation deserves our help. “Thank You, God, for giving me a servant’s heart. If I were not giving unto You, my giving would be conditional.” The word give manifests in countless ways. For example, smiling and waving at a driver who angrily gestures behind you, even as you let other cars merge, is giving. Offering kindness to someone who never acknowledges you or lending assistance to someone who failed to fulfill their responsibilities are opportunities to give. When we serve God, others receive the best of us—even when their actions don’t warrant it by worldly standards. It’s not about determining worthiness; it’s about listening to God and aligning our actions with His expectations. Serving God frees us from placing value judgments on others, deciding their worth, or withholding kindness. Instead, we treat everyone with the nobility and grace God extends to us. "Service in God’s House" “To a home, there is no difference of importance or value between the person who laid the foundation and the person who sweeps the floor. One creates a structure, and the other preserves it.” —Frankie Reed-Shaw In God’s house, all are equal. When we serve, we honor God—not ourselves, not others, and not their actions. This approach may seem detached or even cold, but true service is unconditional when it’s rooted in loyalty to Him. For example, my commitment to my husband is not merely a reflection of my loyalty to him; it’s a reflection of my loyalty to God. Marriage, for me, is a union under God’s terms. When I am tempted to respond with frustration, argue, or give up, I remember the oath I made to God—a steadfast and unchanging foundation. This principle applies to all relationships, from close connections to casual acquaintances. Treat others as God would want us to treat them—with correction, patience, mercy, kindness, and undeserved favor. "Unconditional Service" “When we do unto God, the doing becomes unconditional.” —Frankie Reed-Shaw Serving with a heart for God means giving freely and without judgment, mirroring the grace He has shown us. By placing our focus on Him, we can live as true servants, offering love, kindness, and humility to all who cross our path.

AuthorHi, I’m Frankie. I’ve loved writing since I was a child, not just the stories, but the way words can carry emotion, truth, and understanding. I’m curious about people, life, and the deeper meaning beneath the surface. This blog is where I reflect, create, and try to capture what it means to be fully human. Thanks for being here. Let’s grow together. Archives
