"The Potter and the Clay" “God is the potter, and I am the clay being painfully molded into a beautiful representation of Him.” —Frankie Reed-Shaw In this life, when we endure the process of being painfully broken and molded, we are given the opportunity to truly see and embrace the beauty life has to offer. As God works to shape us, sloughing away our fleshly outer layers, we inevitably feel the discomfort of transformation. In our attempts to cling to worldly forms, we harden, becoming less pliable in His hands. Yet, even in our resistance, God tenderly waters us with His moistened hand, patiently awaiting our response. Recognizing Resistance to God’s TransformationHow do we know when we’ve become resistant to God’s transformative process? It’s often simple to identify:
When we resist God’s touch, we lose sight of His purpose for our lives and attempt to fill that void with fleeting, worldly substitutes. Returning to the Potter’s HandsHow do we break the cycle and become softened to God’s touch once more? The answer lies in reconnecting with Him:
By intentionally creating space for connection with God, we open ourselves to His greater purpose. As we surrender to His transformative process, we are guided toward becoming the beautiful representations of Him that He envisions. Let us remain pliable in His hands, trusting that His work, while sometimes painful, is always done with love and purpose. With Love and Grace, Frankie Reed-Shaw

AuthorHi, I’m Frankie. I’ve loved writing since I was a child, not just the stories, but the way words can carry emotion, truth, and understanding. I’m curious about people, life, and the deeper meaning beneath the surface. This blog is where I reflect, create, and try to capture what it means to be fully human. Thanks for being here. Let’s grow together. Archives
