We often allow the talents and abilities given by God, sharpened by us, to be used in a manner that is displeasing to Him. They help to build arrogance and pride that block His purpose and our path to destiny. When this occurs, God must act swiftly and often aggressively, leaving us to believe we are being treated unfairly or that life has dealt us a bad hand. God does not deal bad hands, but hands that are mishandled by humans who sometimes do not appreciate what has been given to them for His purpose. In this ungratefulness, we most often make bad decisions that lead to undesired consequences we cannot handle. God must break down the pride, arrogance, and ungratefulness that we build up by any means necessary because He loves us. In trials, try to think of barriers and roadblocks we are placing in our paths that He is trying to remove.

AuthorMy name is Frankie Reed-Shaw. I am a wife, mother of three, therapist, and lover of all things creative—especially writing thought-provoking pieces. About eight years ago, I began blogging about growth, maturity, and spiritual concepts. My passion lies in expressing challenging ideas that encourage me—and others—to think outside the box and strive to live an authentic, liberated life, free from unnecessary constraints. As a therapist, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside people on their journeys toward self-discovery and healing, which deepens my belief in the importance of authentic connection and growth. Don’t be shy! I’d love for you to share your life experiences and wisdom in the comments of any post. Let’s continue to learn and grow together. Archives
