There will be many times when we are called to exercise or demonstrate our Faith in God. This will be proof that we understand and believe that His plan for our lives is greater than our own. So often we try to forge or merge our wants with the plan and are unwilling to accept "no" for an answer. Furthermore, his voice is so muted in our lives by busyness (trying to keep up with the Jones'), over-doing, over communicating, music, stress and worry, and our own egos/selfishness that we wouldn't hear if He did try to guide us. God will not compete for our undivided attention so that He may guide us. Set aside time with Him to recharge, seek wisdom & discernment, and His Peace. Remember that His plan is better than ours and we will be called to demonstrate our understanding of that concept through faith and being still, but we must seek Him and be willing to hear.

Thank you Vanessa! Many times I have had faith smaller than a mustard seed and He has still covered me.

AuthorMy name is Frankie Reed-Shaw. I am a wife, mother of three, therapist, and lover of all things creative—especially writing thought-provoking pieces. About eight years ago, I began blogging about growth, maturity, and spiritual concepts. My passion lies in expressing challenging ideas that encourage me—and others—to think outside the box and strive to live an authentic, liberated life, free from unnecessary constraints. As a therapist, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside people on their journeys toward self-discovery and healing, which deepens my belief in the importance of authentic connection and growth. Don’t be shy! I’d love for you to share your life experiences and wisdom in the comments of any post. Let’s continue to learn and grow together. Archives
