We never know where life will take us or what resources we’ll need to cope and overcome in those unexpected destinations. But one thing is certain: our thought-life creates and sustains us through the majority of our obstacles and experiences.
One practice that helps me stay grounded, especially during challenging times (like the past two months), is scripting paired with intention-setting. At the start of each week, I use intention-setting to ensure I’m beginning on the best possible note. Setting intentions allows me to call things as though they are, helping me walk by faith rather than relying solely on what I see. It’s a powerful way to align my thoughts and actions with my goals and values. Below, you’ll find two PNG documents and one Word document designed to support your own intention-setting journey. Feel free to customize them and make them your own. Share them with someone who might need a little boost, too! ![]()

AuthorMy name is Frankie Reed-Shaw. I am a wife, mother of three, therapist, and lover of all things creative—especially writing thought-provoking pieces. About eight years ago, I began blogging about growth, maturity, and spiritual concepts. My passion lies in expressing challenging ideas that encourage me—and others—to think outside the box and strive to live an authentic, liberated life, free from unnecessary constraints. As a therapist, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside people on their journeys toward self-discovery and healing, which deepens my belief in the importance of authentic connection and growth. Don’t be shy! I’d love for you to share your life experiences and wisdom in the comments of any post. Let’s continue to learn and grow together. Archives
