There are days I’d rather be laying in bed alone with my thoughts.
Not because I’m overwhelmed or avoiding life, but because there’s something deeply comforting about the quiet. The kind of quiet where your thoughts roam freely, not in loops of worry, but in waves of reflection. Sometimes I imagine myself sitting in a rocking chair, watching the view. The green of trees swaying gently. The shimmer of light dancing on water. The way a pond flows without rushing anywhere.
That’s the kind of stillness I’ve been craving more lately.
