A Little slice of heaven: oreo cream pie!

Who doesn't love ice cream and cookies! Me and the girls decided to try our hand at a new summer treat, and I think we #NailedIt!

Ingredients:
Vanilla Ice Cream
(1 Qrt)
Oreos (Family Pack)
Butter (1/2 cup)

Supplies:
Pan
Mixer
Blender

Directions:
Crust:
De-cream all cookies
Blend in a Ninja (place in a zip-lock and crush)
Place in a bowl and add 1/2 cup of butter slowly while gently stirring
Pour 3/4 of the mixture in the pan and pat firmly filing the bottom of the pan and slightly up the sides.
Use the remainder of the mixture to go along the sides to create the border.
Let bake at180° for 35 minutes
Allow to cool

Filling:
Place ice cream, cookie filling, and any remaining cookie crumbs into a mixer bowl and mix on low for about a minute. 

Completing the pie:
Place filling on cooled pie crust evenly
Cover with clear wrap (if needed)
​Place in the the freezer for a minimum of 4 hours (longer if ice cream is super melted)
